Sell Scotch Whisky

Value For Sellers

When you sell with us, we take your Whisky to an international audience and have access to many more buyers than at a local auction house.

This, combined with the low rates of commission that we offer, means that you'll acheive better prices with us.

Collecting Whisky

Whisky Auctions Edinburgh can offer free collection from most locations in mainland UK (minimum valuations apply).

Whisky Auctions Edinburgh collect the sellers Whisky from their home or workplace using a tracked and insured courier service.

In central Scotland this is usually collection by us, in person, we aim to meet customers one-to-one where practical. Elsewhere in the UK collection is by courier arranged by Whisky Auctions Edinburgh.

Please call to discuss the best collection method prior to buying packing materials.

Note that insurance covers complete loss, not breakages, however breakages are extremely rare and are usually a result of inadequate packaging - we recommend using our custom packing crates which are fully refundable for items sold at our auctions.

Storage of Whisky

Prior to the auction Whisky is photographed for the auction and then boxed, shelved and stored at our secure storage warehouse, where it remains until auction end.
